Last time when I visited in May month, had ordered food from neighboring shack n hence couldn't witness quality of food here..
Positive feedback -
1. Shack is renovated nd has better ambience now!
2. Staff is courteous.
3. Decent parking space.
4. Nice crowd you'll see around but that's because of beauty of Morjim beach nd i won't give that credit to shack... ;)
Negative feedback -
1. Restroom facilities not upto mark. Out of total 4 gents restroom, doors of 2 restrooms are broken vry badly with no privacy inside because of big damage on doors. One door had a hole bigger than one foot in big round shape nd other door was completely broken... I mean... Seriously???
2. Observed spitting patches of Gutkha on wall of one restroom. My dear Indian fellows who enjoy chewing gutkha... Grow up guys!!
3. Shower in ladies restroom wsnt working n unlike gents restroom wch is a must for ppl to take a quick shower aftr playing in sea water. Finally i had to ask my wife use shower from gents restroom to giv a quick bath to my kid.
4. Food quality was just above average and not upto the mark compared to the high price you pay for!! It's better ordering the typical indian or Chinese dishes instead of going for unique dishes lukn at a large list of menu items.
5. FRUSTRATING THING was that Basic Facilities like fans nd charging points available at tables near wall were deliberately kept off when we reached at shack at around 1pm nd staff was just giving excuses saying generator was faulty. I was in no mood to buy that while i pay hefty charges for booze n food during my visit there n finally made them to start the same.
6. Big beer bottles were off the shelf nd you just have only pints to go for paying high price per pint. Whereas neighboring shacks seemed to serve big beer bottles!! God knows why.. This was not the case last time i visited this place.
7. One of the Wooden flooring of the table was almost broken and i had to be careful while walking over it many times.
8. While we all within our group were already cribbing about poor food taste, i reached my boiling point when i saw 500 rs charges against Half tandoori which was served in white sauce. I didn't buy the crap n false justification waiter gave us for that charge WHICH WASN'T EVEN MENTIONED IN MENU CARD.. I simply got up n spoke with the senior staff there n made them reduce the bill amount by 200rs. In line with the price in menu card.
Let me say, It wasn't a big amount for me to pay; but i didn't wish to pay that after seeing overall good quality nd taste we got.!
Overall experience with Loud Station also formerly known as Sandy's Place was ok this time.
