Loaf tales is my favorite haunt for fresh bread and pizzas, without any of the additives. I love their pull apart and foccacia breads. Their pizzas and cakes are wonderful with some special treats like scones from time to time. Their cozy little place in Kakkanad is a must visit. I almost did not order seeing the last review but then considering the high ratings on google and swiggy I felt it’s possible the person who posted might have been too harsh. Unfortunately that wasn’t the case. The pizza is weird. I have had good take away quality pizzas and well as good Neapolitan pizzas as well, but this falls in neither. It didn’t taste terrible but it felt more like a bun than a pizza (yes even if you consider deep pan pizzas). The dough was very weird like a kulcha or something - uncooked in places as well. The cheese was ok - definitely not proper mozzarella - it had no stretch to it at all. The whole thing was just weird and heavy. The toppings were ok - nothing great. I have to agree with the previous review - I don’t understand the high ratings. But as far as pizzas go - this is overpriced - it’s a little better than cheap bakery pizzas but they’ve priced it quite close to at least decent dominos or similar pizzas. 4/10 and that’s being generous. [Response to owner’s comment]: Homestyle pizza bases don’t taste like this either. Plus you haven’t set this expectation on your menu or description at all. And you’ve priced it the same as authentic pizzas. Why would anyone want to pay the same prices for a ‘homemade style’ pizza? I don’t get it. You should try and accept feedback objectively rather than getting defensive and risking making customers weary. Service: Delivery Price per person: ₹400–600 Food: 2
