I had the worst dining experience ever at LIV Eatery and Bar, Thane, and feel compelled to share it. From start to finish, every aspect of the visit was utterly disappointing — from the table reservation process to seating, food, hospitality, and billing. Firstly, on Google and during my call for confirmation, I was told the restaurant operates until 1:30 am. My family and I arrived at 11:00 pm, only to find the place completely barren — no guests, despite it being a Sunday night. This was surprising, given the loud music I often hear from outside, which seems to be a tactic to give a false impression of the restaurant being lively. Upon entering, the staff asked us to change seats three times, claiming they were closing and cleaning up. When I pointed out the listed closing time of 1:30 am, I was rudely told, "Aaj Kal 11-12 baje is band karte hain." We were eventually seated in an area we were not comfortable with, one previously used as a smoking zone, and finally under a wall-mounted fan. The service was shockingly unprofessional. When we attempted to order, the waiter rudely remarked, "Jo bhi mangana, 10 min mangana. Guests nahi hain, aap hi ho. Kitchen band karna hai." Such language and attitude are completely unacceptable. While we were eating, the staff began moving tables, spilling water, and using cleaning powders right next to us. This was not only unhygienic but also a clear display of poor hospitality and utter disregard for customer comfort. To top it off, the bill included a 10% service charge despite the appalling service we received. I strongly recommend others avoid this place, as my experience was nothing short of a nightmare.
