Pearls remain hidden under the oyster shells, and so is this small vegetarian restaurant Little Roti, otherwise not so conspicuous on the Russell Street entrance of Queens Mansion. Most seating is simple 2x2 face to face that comfortably seats 4 in a Table. A few bigger tables accommodate groups larger than 4. Besides food quality and taste, the other points that are worthwhile to mention are its cleanliness hygiene and the warmth with which each Customer is welcomed. Service Captain and service boys are pleasant and smiling throughout, as they usher in mutual respect and our show of gratitude. Coming to food, what stands out? If one may wish to follow my path, one can try it and it can be a memorable culinary experience ! As we enjoyed the Pudina Paneer Tikka with tangy mint chutney over our chat, the Crispy Chilly Baby corn was getting ready, thus allowing sufficient time to secure its crispiness. It was worth the wait and as we gave the first crunchy bite, we looked at each other and nodded in unison to confirm its wonderful taste ! Thereafter, we had ordered for Little Roti Special Kofta to be had along with hot Phulka. This Kofta item was simply outstanding that gave us a burst of multiple flavours as we plunged into its softness and the Methi flavoured gravy ! We closed our eyes to fully sense the taste and its flavours, a passionate process that a true food lover can appreciate ! Nothing more, what more to expect.
