The food is great here, I don't understand the 3.9 rating of this place. Perhaps many people didn't like the Tibetan taste because Tibetan food comes from mountains so it's a bit spicy and soupy mostly. But they have almost accurately mimicked the taste, the Sha phaley stuffing was little less according to the price but shogo khatsa was on point. The place is not that big so you can just eat there but not stay for long, so you can visit cafe craft and a nearby cafe for a cup of tea and long conversations.. but food wise I'll say this place lives up to it. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 3 Recommended dishes: Roasted Pork Ribs, Chicken Datshi, Pork Laphing, Chicken Sha Bhaley Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Must try the shogo khatsa

I was really craving for some authentic Tibetan food. So asked Google baba to show me some good places around Chanmari. This place was at the top of the list so I decided to give it a quick visit. Started off with some chicken laping, it was really good. Then ordered some pork momo, the covering was tender and the fillings were juicy(just how a pork) momo should be. Then came the pork ribs which I'm sad to say was a big Disappointment, the skin on the pork was really hard, had a tough time cutting it with a knife, they put too much soya sauce which overpowers the taste of other ingredients. I also ordered a blue mojito which was okay okay. I'd recommend this place for a casual hangout with friends for some snacking. But not really a place where you could enjoy a full course meal. P. S: This place is pocket friendly!!! Service: Dine in Meal type: Brunch Price per person: ₹1,000–1,200 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Pork Momo, Chicken Momo, Pork Laphing

Recently visited Little Lhasa, a cozy Tibetan restaurant that has been generating a lot of buzz on social media. With high expectations, We decided to try a few dishes: laphing chicken dry, veg steam momos, and sha phaley (listed as sha bhaley on their menu). Unfortunately, the experience didn’t live up to the hype. Starting with the laphing chicken dry, the flavor was quite underwhelming. We found the dish overly salty, which overshadowed any other spices or taste that might have made it stand out. It felt like there was either a mistake during preparation or they had simply been too heavy-handed with the salt. Next, the veg steam momos were also a letdown. The stuffing, which included cheese cubes, was only half-cooked, leaving an odd texture and lack of flavor. Usually, we expect momo to have that perfect balance between a soft wrapper and well-seasoned filling, but these missed the mark. Finally, the sha phaley was another dish that suffered from excessive saltiness. The crispy outer layer was well-prepared, but again, the saltiness overwhelmed the rest of the flavors. I couldn't help but wonder if they had mistakenly over-salted all the dishes that day. The ambiance at Little Lhasa is pleasant, and the staff is friendly, but the food itself didn’t quite deliver the “wow” factor we are hoping for. Maybe it was just an off day for the kitchen, but based on this experience, I’d say the food was average at best. We hope they can fine-tune the seasoning in future because I know Tibetan food can be much more flavorful and balanced.
