Today I went to Lhasa Newar Restaurant there I tried Wooden fire Pizza and it was very good and Newari Thali was also very good..!!but i liked the pizza the best. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I haven't had a greater disappointment than this. The menu looked appetising and classy and the staff respectful. but the food took an eternity to arrive. When my plate arrived at last I couldn't find much there - a dollop of rice, a pitiful bowl of saltless lentil soup, two spinach leaves and a spoonful of half boiled lentils. My partner had ordered momos which never came. They apologised; it didnt come out ok the first time and they are doing it afresh. We said thank you and left the place in a hurry. They had eaten an hour of our precious day and we were hungrier than before. Do not be fooled by the high rating! Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 4 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹600–800

Perfect place to visit when in gangtok. Making wood fire pizza was the best experience. Special mention for chedup. He was a good host and did help us alot with routes, cabs and places to be visited.
