Come here for some rest after a long walk around Worlds of Wonder. Chinese cuisine can be tasted here. Try perfectly cooked hot & sour soup, Dim sum and chicken.
Food Ordered: Chicken manchow soup, Dimsum manchurian, Cheese balls shanghai style, Ho Fan vegetables noodles
My fascination with chinese cuisine borders on cynicism. As much as I like to visit my favourite haunts in the city for the finger-licking chinese dishes, I am always exploring new restaurants to give my tastebuds a chance to have a ‘fortunate accident’. This restaurant was one such ‘fortunate accident’.
A no-frills place with a basic yet cosy interior. I visited the restaurant on a weekday afternoon with only one more table occupied. Food was average but was worth every penny spent. The restaurant has got a very aggressive pricing despite being located in a buzzing mall like The Great India Place (Yes, TGIP is still quite popular). Moreover, the ‘dimsum manchurian’ is the wonder food I have discovered recently and I don't seem to get over it. I love everything piquant and I can survive only on dim sums for a year. So, discovering this dish was my ‘Eureka’ moment and I would urge all of you to give it a try if you visit this place. It’s out of this world. The service was mediocre. While the staff was cordial, they didn't seem interested in serving. No-one offered to serve food and the manner in which the food was placed on the table was quite ‘messy’. Yet, I would like to discount a lot of things for them as they are a new diner and things should improve. I would love to revisit them after a few months.
All in all, it was a ‘paisa vasool’ visit and I might drop by again even if it’s to have the ‘dimsum manchurian’.

Ordered Taulmein, hot & sour soup, Fish Wild Pepper, and two different noodles. Soups were tasty, other dishes were alright. Ambiance was just OK, nothing special to mention.
