Nestled in a prime spot, Leo's Restaurant is a fantastic option for anyone looking for accessible North Indian cuisine in the heart of Delhi. Its biggest advantage is its proximity to the Ramkrishna Ashram metro station, making it incredibly easy to reach from various parts of the city. For those arriving by train, the restaurant is just a short, hassle-free ride from the New Delhi Railway Station, which is a major convenience for travelers. The food largely lives up to the convenient location. The Tandoori Roti was a highlight—perfectly cooked, fluffy, and with just the right amount of char, it was the ideal accompaniment to the main courses. The Butter Chicken was another standout dish, featuring a rich, creamy, and well-balanced gravy with tender pieces of chicken that were full of flavor. The Chicken Rara was also enjoyable, with a robust and tasty minced curry. However, the larger chicken chunks within the dish were a bit of a letdown, as the masala hadn't fully penetrated them, leaving the inside slightly bland. This could be forgiven, as we were one of the first tables to be served that day, and perhaps the dish hadn't had adequate time to simmer and marinate. Overall, Leo's is a solid choice for its location and its excellent execution of classic dishes. It's definitely worth a visit for the Butter Chicken and Roti alone.
