I recently stayed at Lemon Tree Hotel in Bangalore, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. I checked in after a long, exhausting day around 1 AM, expecting to get to my room quickly. However, I was told the room wasn't ready and that it would take 2 minutes to prepare. This '2 minutes' turned into over half an hour of waiting in the reception area, which was filled with mosquitoes, making it an uncomfortable experience. After such a tiring day, all I wanted was to rest, but the delay was frustrating. To make matters worse, the cleanliness of the room was far from acceptable. The room wasn’t properly cleaned, and basic toiletries like soap and towels were missing. I had to call housekeeping to request them, and even then, it took an unreasonably long time for them to deliver these essentials. It's baffling that such basic things weren’t already in place, especially after the long wait for the room to be prepared. I was also starving when I arrived, but room service was slow and meals took far longer to arrive than they should have. As a guest who just wanted a quick meal and rest, this was incredibly disappointing. There seems to be a complete disregard for guest convenience and comfort here. The lack of attention to cleanliness, slow service, and failure to prioritize guests’ needs made this stay one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve had. I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. Service: 1
