The quality of the food here is exceptional. I have visited this place quite a few times and Ive never felt very heavy in my stomach or greasy for that matter. Definitely recommend this place to anyone who craves for authentic chinese and continental food. Kudos to the team.
The best part about this place is its quantity and price. This place is really affordable and has amazing interiors. The service is fast as well. Deducted one star only because I didn't like the chicken crispy starter as the chicken felt a little hard.
A well lit, giant signboard makes the restaurant unmissable. So finally after climbing the DNA stairway, we settled down at level-1.
At the first glance, the space looks completely underutilised and choice of furniture is boring. And waiters are conspicuous by their absence. It took 10 mins for one of the two waiters to take our order: chilli fries, chicken black pepper and lemon grass special pot rice.
Surprisingly the service was quick. While the fries were yummy, excess of oil at the bottom of the plate (which was chipped and slightly unclean) revealed the hurry to send out the order. Within minutes we were served chicken black pepper. The meat was tender, well spiced and cooked to perfection. But the viscous gravy served with the chicken proved a notch better.
Once again, before we could polished down our starters, the main course (lemon grass special pot rice) was at our table. And this one too lived up to our expectation. Most importantly, the rice wasn't sticky and the flavours were well balanced.
To wash this scrumptious meal, we ordered fresh lime sodas. Unfortunately, this one took longer time than our main course. However, the addition of nutmeg or cinnamon was a clever add-on to the drink.
The most commendable part about the meal: zero aginomoto (as mentioned on the menu card). We believe the claim because not once we experienced those nasty burps or dehydration that usually follow a Chinese meal .
If you are looking for good food with value for money experience, this is the place (they also serve mughlai).
