Le Petit Four, a French patisserie located in the heart of White Town, Puducherry, is a must-visit establishment for anyone with a sweet tooth. The cozy ambiance and minimalist interior design create a warm atmosphere that is perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee and a pastry.
While the prices may be slightly higher than other eateries in the area, the quality of the pastries and breads more than justifies the cost. Le Petit Four offers a wide range of desserts, including their famous macarons, eclairs, and tarts. Their New York cheesecake, topped with fresh strawberry pulp, is a particular standout. For those who prefer savory options, they offer sandwiches such as the smoked chicken sandwich.
Le Petit Four also boasts a variety of soft drinks and hot beverages, including coffee and hot chocolate. For those looking for something stronger, they offer a selection of wines to pair with their desserts.
Although the establishment is small, there is outdoor seating available for those who prefer to enjoy their treats al fresco. Overall, Le Petit Four is a fine dining spot that is not to be missed for anyone with a sweet tooth or a love for French pastries.
I had a bitter experience here this morning. I had parked my car in the shown spot at 5.45 am this morning, my car wasn't blocking the doorway. I was about to go for a walk in the beach. As I was about to get down I noticed the security who was incharge there, urinating in the opposite side of the road and when I was about to leave to the beach he walked towards me and asked why i was parking my car here. I asked him if it was a problem and he was like the space is for other vehicles (when I questioned what other vehicles, he doesn't give an answer, tourist vehicles? at 5.45 am, the bakery wasn't even open at that time, since when does le petit four claim ownership of the road) and I shouldn't be parking here. Such a rude attitude. I don't understand what's happening here in Pondicherry. We pay taxes but this is situation of the locals here. I wonder since when Le Petit Four has gained ownership of Suffren street. A man (the security there)can urinate in public but a woman can't park her car at the side of the road for an hour. Way to go Le Petit Four.
