The French cuisine is good at this restaurant. Le Bistro du Parc provides nicely cooked cheese sandwiches, terrine and bacon. Taste good fruitcake, crème brûlée and lemon pie.
The wine list is diverse, it can satisfy the needs of all visitors. A collection of great cold coffee, juice or ice tea is provided to guests. If you look through the guests' reviews, the staff is efficient at this place. Cool service is something clients like here. In accordance with the reviewers' opinions, prices are affordable. I have been to Le Bistro du Parc many times in the past, i returned to the place last evening after almost a year and was shocked to see how the standards have fallen. To begin with, the air conditoning was non-existant so we had an uncomfortably warm evening which we chose to ignore in anticipation of a good meal at least. After pondering over the menu which was brought to us, for a good ten minutes, we were told most things on the menu weren't available so we had to choose from very limited options. We ordered a salad and a started and one main dish, the spring chicken. The portions were abnormaly small, leaving us far from satisfied. We asked for some bread to accompany the food which we were refused. The grand finale of disappointment came when we saw a rat run around the counter and disappear twowards the direction of the kitchen, a huge violation of basic hygenic standards of anyone in this business, enough to make us gag! If the restaurant is struggling to sustain itself then perhaps its better to shut it out instead of contuing to charge people for such an unacceptable experience. We returned home feeling cheated of the amount we spent and hungry!
