Extremely bad experience. Came for my birthday dinner. Very bad food. All cold food. There was not much variety. Desserts were stale. Rabri was sour. Hated the vibe and ambience. Never gonna visit again Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

July 5, 2025 – 2nd day in Delhi We’re currently staying at Le Meridien for five nights, and today marked day two. Every morning we enjoy the buffet breakfast at The One, Le Meridien. There’s a great selection of Indian dishes, made-to-order waffles and pancakes, dosa and omelettes, and a wide spread of European options. I keep hoping for noodles, rice or dumplings but haven’t spotted them yet, so I usually order an omelette. My husband is in breakfast heaven, and the kids love it too. The service is excellent and very attentive. But tonight’s five-star review is all about dinner. After a full day of touring, our kids were exhausted. We took them to the pool for some playtime but they were adamant about staying in and not going out for dinner. We discovered the hotel has three restaurants and saw that room service offered burgers and pasta for them—they only wanted familiar American food. We went to Monsoon and asked if we could have the kids’ room-service meals brought there so we could dine together. They laughed and said no, so we headed to The One. The dinner buffet was underway but we chose a la carte instead. We ordered a burger for our 7-year-old and cheesy pasta for our 5-year-old. I had my eye on the fish curry listed on the room-service menu but saw it wasn’t on The One’s menu. My husband spoke to Rajneesh, the manager, who kindly arranged for it to be brought over from Monsoon. I ended up ordering the dum gosht biryani instead. My husband chose tandoori chicken tikka kebab with naan and tandoori roti. The kids devoured their meals with big smiles. Their burger was juicy and well-seasoned, and the pasta was creamy and cheesy—exactly what they wanted. My husband’s kebab arrived first and he insisted on sharing it with me. Each bite was smoky, tender, and perfectly spiced—he said he was in pure bliss. My biryani arrived in a covered dish, piping hot. My husband and I shared it and waited until he finished his kebab before we dug in. Even then, the biryani was still steaming. Devender Bisht, our server, noticed we were ready for the next course, brought us clean plates, and served our biryani with impeccable timing. The first bite made my husband declare it the best biryani he has ever had. I wholeheartedly agreed and we polished off every last grain together. Rajneesh visited our table and interacted warmly with the kids—so gracious and kind. Earlier, my goal in India was to eat as much mango as I could, so we bought some at the market. My husband asked Rajneesh for a plate and knife to slice them in our room. Instead, Rajneesh offered to have them cut right there. When the plate of mango arrived, Devender had it beautifully sliced—my 5-year-old dove in before I could snap a clear photo. The service from both Rajneesh and Devender was outstanding, thoughtful, and genuine. I hesitated to dine in-hotel since Delhi is a foodie city, but tonight turned out to be one of the best meals we’ve had anywhere. If you stay here, The One is not just convenient—it’s a dining destination. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
