While the restaurant looks like a colourful scene out of a children's book, the environment posed a hidden danger. The available chairs were unsafe, to say the least. I ended up sitting on a chair that was clearly broken; if I had moved even a little, I would have fallen. There were also a pile of broken chairs in a corner. One should wonder how many chairs this establishment goes through in a given month.
We opted for some cupcakes and macaroons. For the cupcakes, we went with Banoffee, Oreo, and Red Velvet. The Banoffee was moist, well baked, and stayed true to banana and coffee. The Oreo and Red Velvet cupcakes were extremely dense. A dense cake just shows that the recipe wasn't right even before the baking process.
We went with the Salted Caramel and Peanut Butter Macaroons. Both macaroons were brilliantly made. The outer biscuit was soft, chewy, and airy, while the inner filling provided a rich flavour. The macaroons are possibly the saving grace for Le 15
We visited this dessert parlour at almost closing time. The server was kind enough to let us sit and eat our dessert while he closed up shop.
The high price charged by this chain should be backed up by exceptional quality. Le 15 doesn't deliver quality. Although the macaroons are wonderful, I'll be sticking to other pastry shops
I have been eating their macarons since almost 4 years now. Lately, found them to be a lil overly sweet.
Coffee, Hazelnut, Pistachio, Lavender & Vanilla Rasberry are some of my favorites!
Love their Belgium Chocolate Cupcakes. It's superb. That's a must eat here.
Also, they have some lovely interiors ????????.
