My time at your restaurant was very disappointing because of how the manager acted the other day. I called before I went to ask if they had a certain quantity of hummus. I told them I needed to confirm because I was busy. The manager I spoke to said "yes" for sure. I believed him and drove almost 9 kilometers to the restaurant. But when I got there, the manager denied what he had just told me. He wouldn't give me the quantity of hummus I asked about. When I reminded him what he said and mentioned writing a review, he became very rude. Driving 9 kilometers for such a bad and confusing experience is really annoying. This shows very poor management and customer service. I will not be going back to your restaurant. Service: 1

I recently ordered from Layla's Shawarma and Middle Eastern Kitchen and was left disappointed. I tried the chicken shawarma and fries. The shawarma was quite average—nothing memorable or particularly special. The fries, however, were over-the-top salty, to the point where they were almost inedible. When I called the restaurant to address the issue, the staff's response was unhelpful and somewhat odd. Overall, this experience was underwhelming, and I won't be rushing back.
