we went here on March 28th with a client who was visiting from abroad. We were disappointed with the food, it was pretty hit and miss but the real sore point was the service. As we started the servers placed two lamps of warm night on the table as lighting outside is very dark, however these lamps kept switching on and off enough for us to ask them to take it away. after starters were done the main course was delivered but no full size plates ! when inquired the servers tell us there was no space on our table. I don't know how Layla does it but every other functional restaurant we've been to noticed empty platters and actively clear it to maintain space on the table ! There was still space despite this but the answer given by the servers really shocked me. The view is the only good thing about the Layla but please heed this advice and just go to Skyye or 13th floor for better food and better service and save your money.
