Laxmi Dhaba – Shamli (Thanabhawan), Delhi–Saharanpur Road. Rating: (3 stars) We recently stopped by Laxmi Dhaba, located in Rahi Colony on Delhi–Saharanpur Road in Thanabhawan (Shamli) — a convenient roadside spot with free parking and a clean, well‑kept interior. We ordered a variety of paranthas, but unfortunately they came across as pretty tasteless, lacking the usual punch we’d hoped for. In contrast, the samosa with chole was a standout — flavorful, well‑spiced, and satisfying. Everything felt very hygienic and was priced quite economically, making it easy on the wallet without compromising cleanliness or service. The location is definitely a plus — right on NH‑709B (Delhi–Saharanpur Road), making it ideal for travelers and quick meals on the highway. Overall, it’s a decent mid‑range dhaba: excellent for hygienic, inexpensive highway dining, especially if you stick to their chole and samosa. The paranthas, however, could definitely use a flavor boost.
