I recently visited Lakshmi Restaurant in Paltan Bazar, Dehradun, hoping to enjoy their best-selling masala dosa, but I was quite disappointed with my experience. The dosa was thick and bland, missing the light, crispy texture and tangy flavor that I was looking forward to, while the sambhar tasted like plain water with vegetables floating in it—completely lacking in spices and flavour. What made the experience worse was the lack of hygiene in the restaurant, which was surprising considering they charge a decent amount for their dishes. Cleanliness should be a given at such prices, but unfortunately, it fell short. Overall, the quality, taste, and hygiene did not justify the reputation or the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone hoping for authentic and satisfying South Indian food in Dehradun. I ordered chola bhatura and there was a cockroch in bhatura. They didn't even said sorry or ask any kind of apology. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: ₹200–400
