This restaurant and Clock Tower can be both really attractive for tourists. Here you can try Indian and Vegetarian cuisines. Tasty masala dosa, idli and sambar can make a good impression on you. Come to Lakshmi Restaurant to taste good pancakes. This place is famous for great cold coffee, lassi or tea.
The high ratings of this place would be impossible without the terrific staff. Cool service is something visitors like here. Affordable prices are to be expected at this spot. When inside, the ambiance is pretty. But this restaurant is not highly appreciated by Google users who assigned it a below average rating.

Visited this restaurent seeing the youtube videos to try their famous masala dosa. Situated in the middle of total busy and chaos bazaar. Masala dosa was only average in taste. Service was a mess though as it was totally crowded. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Price per person: ₹1–200

I recently visited Lakshmi Restaurant in Paltan Bazar, Dehradun, hoping to enjoy their best-selling masala dosa, but I was quite disappointed with my experience. The dosa was thick and bland, missing the light, crispy texture and tangy flavor that I was looking forward to, while the sambhar tasted like plain water with vegetables floating in it—completely lacking in spices and flavour. What made the experience worse was the lack of hygiene in the restaurant, which was surprising considering they charge a decent amount for their dishes. Cleanliness should be a given at such prices, but unfortunately, it fell short. Overall, the quality, taste, and hygiene did not justify the reputation or the price, and I wouldn’t recommend it for anyone hoping for authentic and satisfying South Indian food in Dehradun.
