Hotel Lake View is a great choice if you are in the mood for the Chinese cuisine. The convenient location of this place makes it easy to reach even in rush hours. The terrific staff at this spot can demonstrate how much they like their guests. The enjoyable service is something these restaurateurs care about. But google users rated Hotel Lake View and it didn't gain a high rating.

For the price, Lake View hotel is a good option in central Madurai. I booked at Agoda, and check-in was easy. The rooms are large and well maintained (new air, hot water day/night, tv, etc), and close to many eateries. For sightseeing, I took an Auto with my guide. Although located on a main road, there was little noise at night to affect sleeping. The front desk was helpful in locating my driver (transfer) to Ooty; they called the company and confirmed my pick-up at the hotel, the morning of departure. If you are looking for a good, safe, economical 'no frills' hotel in Madurai, Hotel Lake View offers excellent value for the money. Service: 4
