*A Disappointing Experience at Smita's Lake House Bar & Restaurant* My recent visit to Smita's Lake House Bar & Restaurant was unfortunately a far cry from the glowing reviews I had read, leaving me utterly shocked and deeply dissatisfied. For a place with such high praise, the reality was a significant letdown on nearly all fronts. The most glaring issue was the terrible and obnoxious service. The staff exhibited a complete lack of cohesion, appearing disorganized and slow. It was astounding to wait over an hour just to receive a simple cold drink. This kind of delay is unacceptable, especially when dining out. When the food finally arrived, it too failed to impress. Despite the hyped "acclaimed fish thalis," nothing on the menu stood out, and not a single dish had that "wow" factor one hopes for when trying a highly-rated establishment. The flavors were unremarkable, and the overall culinary experience was decidedly underwhelming. To compound the disappointment, Smita's Lake House is extremely overpriced. Paying over ₹7,000 for what amounted to woeful service and food that delivered absolutely nothing close to the price tag felt like a rip-off. There was simply no value for money to be found here. The chicken dry fry included onions and peppers, that were fried and hardly any chicken this on its own is totally wrong as the menu states "Chicken Dry Fry" and not "Chicken with Vegetables Fry". In conclusion, Smita's Lake House Bar & Restaurant, despite its impressive online reputation, delivered an experience that was profoundly underwhelming. Between the abysmal service, uninspired food, and exorbitant prices, I would definitely not recommend it. Unnecessarily Overpriced place. A small pond nearby adds about 30% or more to the food and drink prices. (Lake View). A kingfisher beer MRP 97/- cost you Rs 220/- plus Tax. Though they have some uncommon dishes, the food cost and quantity is not justified. Parking is at a different place and bit away from restaurant. ADDITIONALLY YOU ARE MADE TO PAY COMPULSORY SERVICE CHARGES on the bill which comes in your Bill at 5% of total amount. (not written Optional) It should be the visitor's right actually to pay a Tip or Service charge. Overall, a LET DOWN. Food: 2 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 2 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹800–1,000

See at 97 is at. Swine store jot in any restaurants We have dedicated parking in a gated compound plot And we do not ask any of our customers to pay any service charge on compulsion plz do not spread wrong rumours if pricing was an issue for you kindly do not defame for unnecessary reasons

Mutton thali was served cold and rice was uncooked ,Kingfish tasted of kerosene and stale old chicken was used in the fried rice.the ervice staff was not only bad but we got our part by part 2 hours late . There was no compensation or remorse by the owner who only said sorry. Terrible experience overall
