You can have perfectly cooked butter chicken, chicken fried rice and fried chicken at this restaurant. The good staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. Lake view retreat can be hard to find for someone who is not from guwahati. But is easily accessible through google maps. At first when we ordered the food we thought they are going to serve us the typical dhaba food. But the maincourse was fresh, it didn't smell, it can vary in taste but it was edible. I liked the fact that they do not bother you by asking you again and again what do you want. Order it once and it will keep coming. They don't serve pork here so that's a different story. One can bring friends and family at the same time. There is also no restriction in drinking. Beautifully constructed cottages and decent food at a very manageable price with ample amount of parking space.
