Besides Paliem Sweet Water Lake, visit La Veda Resto&Bar in the vicinity. This restaurant is known for serving Israeli cuisine. It's worth visiting La Veda Resto&Bar because of nicely cooked pumpkin soup, shakshuka and vegetable pizza. You will hardly forget good coffee, smoothies or tea that you can taste.
Musicians make live music in the evening. The terrific staff reflects the style and character of this place. Prices are found reasonable here. The restaurant itself is stunning, with lovely terraces on two different floors and beautiful decor that creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The staff was friendly and attentive, which made the experience pleasant. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to my expectations. I ordered a watermelon salad with feta cheese, but the watermelon was underripe and tasteless, and the excessive amount of granola and nuts overwhelmed the dish. The eggplant coconut curry was also a letdown—overcooked and too watery, with no real flavor from the vegetables. For the price, I expected much better. I could have had a perfect meal for two at a simpler restaurant for the same cost. While the ambiance is wonderful, I wouldn’t return for the food.
