La Casse Croute Bangalore is a café nestled on the 6th Floor near the Mahatma Gandhi Road metro station. Known for serving French and street food cuisine, this eatery offers a unique culinary experience featuring dishes inspired by the quintessential lanes of France. The café has garnered attention for its homemade offerings, including praised items such as the Monsieur Martin with extra onion and French crêpes with homemade cocoa spread.

Despite the absence of recent visitor reviews, it should be noted that earlier patrons lauded the café's excellent food quality and the friendly nature of its team. Additionally, the spotlights have been shone on specialties like cappuccinos crafted by founder Nicolas. While exact operating hours remain unspecified, the establishment is known for offering meals at a relatively cheap price point.

The operator seems to no longer provide updated information, and no recent experiences have been shared in nearly a decade, so current dining conditions and offerings could potentially have evolved since. Nevertheless, if you're exploring French-inspired street fare in Bengaluru, La Casse Croute might still provide a distinct divergence from the familiar local cuisines.

Excellent food and drinks, with a nice background music (French radio I guess)! Everything is homemade, and the team is really nice and friendly. Monsieur Martin with extra onion is excellent, so as the French crêpe with homemade cocoa spread... And ask for the cappuccino made by the founder Nicolas himself, it's just perfect!

India is home to diversified cuisines from all around the world. Street food has been modernized and advanced to the next level by hugely popular Food Trucks touring the city of Bengaluru. This one in particular is famous and one of the Top Ten in India. It serves original quintessential dishes available in lanes of France- something different and unique for the locals . The surging crowd always found around the vehicle called Le Casse Croute bears testimony to this statement.........

My introduction to Le Casse Croûte began when I tracked the food truck down to St. Joseph's College of Commerce to try their fare a few months ago. It was a delight to meet Nicolas Gé and Nicolas. Tried the "Monsieur Le Goff - Prawns & Aioli" along with fries and they were delicious. Packed the Madame Belanger (great as well!). When I was told of their introducing a French Thali at this, their cafe, I followed the moustaches up to the 6th floor on Church Street for one of the first tastes. It was amazing! The attention paid to detail putting the thali together was very impressive! I had a front seat at the counter and took the whole process in! Wow! That they got stainless steel plates and put the various dishes in small steel bowls was fascinating! French food South Indian thali style! I was sold! The dishes themselves were very tasty and the whole very sumptuous! The ambience was pleasant despite the hectic nature of the run. Loved the Le Exotique (a fruit punch of sorts that Nicolas Gé put together) which was appropriate for the weather and again, delicious. Had Ratatouille for the first time and the crunchy cauliflowers in the thali, both incredible! Green beans, mashed potatoes, carrots, creamed spinach, etc., all great! Pâté on toasted bread made the difference between non-vegetarian and vegetarian thalis. The Crème de la Crème for dessert topped it all!
There are new menu items being introduced and some entertainment to go along. All in all a wonderful experience and a must-visit!
