We have been long-time, loyal customers of your restaurant—from your early days in Khare Town, then Mate Chowk, and now at your current location in Shewalkar Complex. We’ve always appreciated your delicious preparations and warm service, which is why we continue to visit despite the new location being smaller and the ambiance not quite on par with your previous outlets. However, during our recent visit, we had a disappointing experience that we felt should be brought to your attention. We had ordered the Pesto Alla Genovese Pasta, one of our favorite dishes. Without informing or asking us beforehand, the waiter served it with jalapeños instead of sun-dried tomatoes, stating the latter was unavailable. We feel it’s not appropriate to make substitutions in a dish without consulting the customer first, especially when it significantly alters the flavor profile. Additionally, we had confirmed with the waiter that the pasta would be served with two slices of garlic bread—as it always has been in the past. However, the bread was forgotten initially, and when it did arrive after a reminder, it was cold, chewy, and lacked butter or the usual flavor. To add to this, some of the vegetables in the pasta tasted stale and did not seem fresh. We understand every place can have occasional lapses, but we wanted to highlight this because we truly value your restaurant and don’t want to see the quality and customer trust decline. Many patrons, like us, come back for the taste and consistency that you’ve built over the years. We kindly request you to look into the current quality control and service practices so that La Pasta Fresca Deli can continue to offer the excellent experience it’s known for. The food here is absolutely delicious! Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. Highly recommend the Black rice cream Chees roll and fissile Alfredo pastas
