I came across this food truck, La Comer Chicken Shawarma while driving through Bastora and stopped to check it out. They have quite a crowd in the evenings, possibly because their shawarmas are pretty affordable. At Rs. 70, you can get yourself a shawarma in a roti, poee or bread roll. You can ask them to make it spicy if you like your heat. The truck interiors are clean and the man managing the orders is efficient. Pro Tip - the bread roll is more filling than the roti, which is quite small in comparison. They were out of poees when I visited. Grab yourself a cup of chai at the gado next to the truck and your evening snacking is sorted! Follow thatgoangirl on Instagram for more street food finds.
