We visited La Artisan Bistro on a Sunday evening, looking for a cozy dinner with some continental options. The place wasn’t too crowded, though the outdoor seating was limited. We opted for an indoor table, which was surprisingly quiet for a Sunday. Service was prompt. From the menu, we ordered a chicken sizzler, pineapple margarita, the “From the Streets of Calcutta” cocktail, and a paprika chicken pizza. The sizzler was decent, though we’ve had better. The drinks were refreshing, especially the pan-flavored “Streets of Calcutta” — worth a try if you like something unique. Unfortunately, the chicken paprika pizza had a strong seafood smell. Upon checking, the chef admitted the oven hadn’t been cleaned properly after making a seafood pizza. That was disappointing, but to their credit, they replaced the dish promptly. We later tried the Harissa Chicken, which was quite good. Overall, the experience was average. We expected a bit more variety and richer continental options like Chicken Stroganoff. It’s a decent spot for a quick meal, but nothing exceptional.
