Mind You: The table was not reserved.
Her name according to the floor manager was "KUHU", she was a slightly heavy set woman with a ponytail and a very rude face.
So here are the reasons she gave us very very Rudely :
1. That the table was meant only for 10 people when, the adjoining table with the same seating configurement, had 6 people sitting there.
2. She told us the Minimum Service Charge for the table was Rs.40,000!! I went and asked the adjoining table if they were spending Rs.40,000, they were shocked and told me that they were not spending that amount.
3. When we told her she was being very rude and that she was lying, she told us " whatever you say or do, she would not let us sit on the table" and that "we could do whatever we wanted"
We felt like, she was actually "PAYING" us to have a drink there.
After we insisted to talk to the manager, he made an effort - apologised and gave us the table.
We went there to have a nice time but we were treated like we had "NO Money" to spend and "Looked Down Upon", we felt like we were being treated this way because " We looked DIFFERENT" . We felt racially discriminated and humiliated to be treated that way.
We went there to spend money and have fun not to be Humiliated! This Staff " KUHU" definitely needs to be Reprimanded and called out for her actions. It is a Service industry, a Restaurant, a Bar where your PATRONS are your livelihood. She needs to learn how to speak, behave and sent back to school ! !
