The location is perfect—very close to the sea beach. You can spend a peaceful and romantic time at the beach at night, and then safely walk back to the hostel. The staff are very friendly, and the hospitality and services are excellent. Although there were some network issues in the room, the Wi-Fi was available and usable. Service: 5

I stayed here 3 times, and all these three times I had the worst experience at the hotel, when I stayed here for the first time, I went with my best friend as he stayed here once and he liked it so we decided to stay but right from the arrival the room service staff started asking for tip!!! 1st trip - We tip the person who drops us to our room (we pick up our bags ourselves, the cleaning staff (cleans the room only once) and the person who comes to deliver food for us from the restaurant inside the hotel (delivers food to our room only twice) 2nd Trip - The same thing happened again and this time he asked for tips from all the members of our group (this time we didn't request for cleaning or ordering food) 3rd Trip - The same thing happened again (employees came to me like beggars asking for tips) I don't understand why they do this, because if I am happy with their service I will tip myself, no need to tell them anything. They charge Rs 3500 per day and even after paying this amount I have to tip their staff for every work like cleaning the room even if I told them that the room AC is not working or the remote is not working, this is really annoying. Mobile network is not working in the room, even you have problem in normal phone calls, but hotel wifi is not working in the room, it works in the corridor When I go for all these things and I feel the worst, the money they charge is really not justified. Very unpleasant and awful experience staying in a hotel landmark Puri. I checked in to this hotel on 29/10/22 at morning 1015ish and the hotel team allocated me room number 121 in ground floor for my family ( 3 adults and one child). I booked this hotel via MMT and they charged me around 3.6 K for a AC double bed delux room for one day stay. The room wasn't ready for check in at all and i have to stand around 5 min in front of room door as the room service staff was mopping the room floor and while other staff were changing the bed sheets. No bath towel was provided by the hotel when I checked in. The bathroom geyser was not working and when I informed it to their service staff at around 1100 AM, they said they will check it. No one turned up to fix geyser in next 1 hour. We finally took the bath using cold water as we were getting late to visit the puri temple. While going to temple I handed over my room keys to front desk and asked them to fix the geyser issue by the time I come back to hotel in evening, and if issue can't get fixed please allocate me another equivalent room for my one day stay. They said they will get geyser fixed in next 2-3 hrs. I came back hotel at around 4:15 PM and the hotel team informed me that geyser is now working ok. I called the hotel restaurant to take order for tea and the response from them tea order will be taken after 5. The restaurant team has taken their lunch so we can't make tea now and you call us again after 5 PM. How funny, this is their restaurant team. I informed this to front desk team and they said they will check with restaurant. I left to puri beach at 5 PM and came back to hotel room at around 7:30 PM. I was surprised to see the bathroom Geyser wasn't working at all. The front desk team lied to me when I came back after temple darshan. I called again on their service desk number and they said they can't fix the geyser today. I finally went to their reception area to speak to front desk team for issues that i was facing since morning and they (reception staff who was sitting next to heavy-built guy in the reception area) started arguing with me, said they can't fix the geyser and it can be done tomorrow. I said please change my room as I don't want my family to suffer more here. The reception team refused it at first. I challenged them this is not the ethical way to behave with customer, and somehow they agreed to change the room finally at around evening 8 PM and then allocated me another pathetic dark gloomy room 119. I didn't have any option so I shifted so that my family need not to take bath in cold water next day morning. Room 119 was another disappointment. My family member has to sleep on a mattress that was kept on floor as there was no any bed for 3rd member due to small room compare to the previous room 121. Somehow I spent night with my family and left room next day at morning 8 AM. Horrible food service. Blend breakfast and food served. I requested restaurant team to provide a jug of hot water for drinking, which they were very reluctant to accept my request. Even for water bottle and towels I have to chase the front desk ample number of times. I felt like cheated from hotel landmark team due to incompetent front desk team. Horrible front desk staff with fake smile on face. A front desk team member who was with another heavy built manager was very rude, lied about my checkin saying you checked in at morning 0830 AM, which I counter asking him to check check in register entry to see the correct time 1015ish. No respect for customer. Worst hotel staying experience. Probably Landmark team to work on improving behaviour of front desk team to take care of customers need for a comfortable stay in a beautiful city Puri.
