The professional staff works hard, stays positive and makes this place great. The fast service is a big plus of this restaurant. From the visitors' viewpoint, the atmosphere is enjoyable. As for the Google rating, Cherie achieved 4.5.

Yes the food is pocket friendly. But the quality of food is so bad , they serve low quality meat . Their pork items are the worst . The pork smells funny and they look like pieces that aren't freshly cut . The worst experience ever . Never visiting again Food: 1 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 2

Mongolian Fried Rice Chicken - Rs. 110 Special Coffee - Rs. 20 Cherie, Jaiaw, Shillong Chinese $ 27.06.24 Today before evening hospital duty, I went & checked out Cherie. It's at a level below the road so I stepped down into the restaurant. The ambience was nice & cozy with proper tables & chairs. The menu was already on the table. I glanced through it before I decided on Mongolian Fried Rice. There was option for pork or chicken, I decided on chicken. I remember when we were small my Aunt would order Mongolian Pork from Abba restaurant & would bring it home. It was pinkish in color & very tasty. I became excited about this Mongolian Fried rice. I ordered it with a Special Coffee It took 15mins for the waitress to take my order. Anyway my order did come within 5 mins. I was impressed. The coffee also followed soon after. The portions of the rice didn't look much but I was fine with it. It had some small pcs of diced chicken as well. I took a spoonful & I've definitely never tasted a fried rice like this. For a moment I was lost. It had sultanas aka kishmish & cherries just like the restaurant's name. It was the most confusing taste that I've ever put in my mouth before. Anyway I'm not one to waste food. I quickly finished it off & moved on to the special coffee. The coffee had a nice foamy broth on top. I took a sip & rather than getting a coffee taste, I got more of a cocao taste. It was tasty so I didn't mind. I went to pay up & the lady at the counter seemed nice & was polite. I'm sure the other regular items should be good. But incase you are looking for something different, then this is it.
