Imagine you enter into White Town, and one of the prettiest properties opens its doors to you with cafés all around you, a food street 100 metres away, the best gelato 400 metres away and the beach 500 metres away. Every morning, the breakfast just knocks your boots off with flavour and simplicity. Every corner is crafted with care and attention. And, your room is just heavenly. The water pressure feels like a massage practically, and there’s a mini-fridge to cool drinks for summers. The balcony is a beautiful space to look over the property and sunbath. We painted sea shells there, played a bit of Holi too. Dess was a sweetheart, through and through, and always available for any help. You will not need any, though, that’s how wonderfully everything’s taken care of. The parking is not as much of a hassle as I expected. I wish there was a way I could rate this place a 100 stars out of 5, because if any place ever deserves it, it is this place for its old-world charm in modern heart.

We had a wonderful stay at Le Jardin Suffren, Pondicherry. Thank you Mr. Dess and team for the warm hospitality. The service was good, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. It’s a pet-friendly place, and our pet Pepsi was very comfortable throughout the stay. The location is perfect — right in French Town, with a lovely old French charm. The breakfast was also nice and added to the experience.
