If you ever have a conversation about old, heritage restaurants in Kolkata which have kept up their standards, this one would definitely come to mind. Which is why I don't understand why this place was so empty on a Saturday evening; there were practically more waiters than customers. However it started filling up after 8 PM. I had a Mutton Seekh Kebab which was really good. The baked fish was remarkable and quite heavy, and the Bloody Mary was just perfect. I finished up with a large Tutti Frutti ice cream that was okay-ish. The prices aren't very stepped-up and the staff is quite polite.
