(5/5) Ate at Kuttikar Bar And Restaurant and yup… this place is a proper hidden gem. First things first — food slaps. We tried their bestseller Chonak Fry and it was honestly mouth-watering. Perfectly cooked. Full Goan masala flavour. Zero complaints. Also had local beer and fenny — both hit just right. Seafood lovers, this place is for you. Fresh fish options on display. You can actually choose what you want. We ordered Prawns Rawa Fry (good size, crispy, tasty), but the real star was the Crab Masala Fry. Busy digging into crab meat, forgot to click photos (true story). Also tried the Mudosi fish thali — proper authentic Goan vibes. It came with teesryo masala, sol kadi, papad, salad, rice, gavari (cluster beans), fish curry and fry fish. Quantity + quality both solid. Prices felt very reasonable for what you get. Service? Mixed feelings. I’ve been here twice. Food was amazing both times. Service was okayish — not bad, not great. During peak lunch hours (12:30–2 pm), be ready to wait at least 30 minutes. Go early or after 2–2:30 pm to avoid the rush. One honest downside:. The tables near the basin corner had a slight foul smell . Hope they fix that, because everything else is great. Pro tip:. If you’re visiting in summer, don’t skip Urrak. Their jungle juice of Goa is really well made and super refreshing. Final verdict:. Highly recommended. Amazing Goan seafood, authentic thalis, strong local drinks. Small flaws, but the food totally makes up for it. Definitely worth visiting once (or more). Upvote if you love real Goan food over fancy places. Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3 Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹600–800
