We recently had the pleasure of dining at The Spice Court Kitchen & Bar, a restaurant we discovered through a YouTube channel showcasing its Mangalorean cuisine. Intrigued by the mouth-watering visuals and enthusiastic recommendations, we decided to give it a try. We were not only impressed by the tantalizing flavors but also by the wonderful service and ambiance. Upon arrival, we found the hotel to be aesthetically pleasing and welcoming. However, we did notice that parking might pose a challenge during peak hours due to the restaurant's popularity. Fortunately, the staff was incredibly helpful and assisted us in finding a parking spot. Their attentive service started from the very moment we stepped in, setting a positive tone for our visit. Our gastronomic journey began with the Surmai fry, and we were taken aback by the generous portion size. The fish was fresh, perfectly cooked, and had a delightful crunch to it. Following this, we savored the Kori roti, a classic Mangalorean chicken curry accompanied by a unique rice-based flatbread. The flavors were authentic, and the spices were well-balanced, capturing the essence of Mangalorean cuisine. As we were thoroughly enjoying our meal, we decided to take a parcel of the bangda gassi, another coastal delicacy. The blend of flavors in this dish was a testament to the chef's skill and understanding of traditional recipes. The chicken was exceptionally tender, enhancing the overall dining experience. The staff's attentive and gracious demeanor further added to the enjoyment of our visit. They were helpful in recommending dishes and ensured that our dining experience was smooth and enjoyable. In conclusion, our visit to The Spice Court Kitchen & Bar was a delightful experience, and we would highly recommend it to anyone who appreciates authentic Mangalorean cuisine. The flavors were on point, the portions were generous, and the staff was incredibly hospitable. Despite the potential parking challenge, the overall dining experience made it worthwhile. We look forward to revisiting and exploring more of their tempting offerings. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1,400–1,600 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I used to visit this bar for years since 2014 when it was Spirit and then Kkunal but very recently after its rebranding lots of illiterate and idiot managers got recruited here and they just don't understand nothing about what customer's asking about the order.

Last time I visited I ordered 1 French Fries with Peri Peri Masala but they charged Rs 30 more for Cajun Fries for the reason only God knows and its happened not just once but for several times.

No Pub or Bar in entire India charges higher for just a little thing like Peri Peri Masala but this idiots do.

Even they don't have any idea what's Peri Peri and what's Cajun exactly whether it's some kind of masala or some kind of sauce and also even don't hesitate to start shameless argument because of inadequate knowledge.

That's the reason I just stopped going there totally.
