i took my brother especially to Kunafa as I am a frequent visitor due to their authentic taste and service but yesterday, on 25/10/2025, they probably has to close down at about 10 PM, so they served, probably what felt and tasted like, leftovers. this is the first time we didi not enjoy our visit to Kunafa

I was really looking forward to enjoying a good plate of kunafa, but this version made with suji (semolina) was a major letdown. The texture was completely off — instead of the crispy, golden strands you expect from traditional kunafa, it was dense, grainy, and borderline mushy in the middle. The flavor didn’t help either. The suji overpowered the dessert, leaving a bland, porridge-like aftertaste. Even the sugar syrup couldn’t save it — it just made the whole thing soggy. And where was the stretchy cheese layer? It was barely noticeable, which defeats the whole point of kunafa. If you’re expecting the authentic, stringy, crispy kunafa experience, this version isn’t it. Suji may be fine in some desserts, but in kunafa, it just doesn’t work. Would not recommend. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

Title: Worst Kunafa I’ve Ever Had We ordered Kunafa here and were completely disappointed. Instead of using vermicelli, they made it with suji (semolina), which totally ruined the texture and authenticity of the dish. It didn’t taste like Kunafa at all — just a random sweet with an unpleasant flavor. On top of that, the service was very poor. The staff didn’t seem interested, and there was no effort to make the experience better even after we mentioned the issue. Overall, a complete waste of money. Definitely not recommended for anyone who actually knows what real Kunafa tastes like. Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1
