Worth the Hype! Kumbar Hotel, located in the narrow bylanes of Magadi, is difficult to spot due to lack of a name board. This restaurant is quite popular among the locals, but lacks parking space for 2/4 wheelers. It is a family run business, running out of a little kitchen in the house. It offers delicious Idlis and Vada with a spicy chutney and potato curry. The breakfast is affordable and they accept both online and offline modes of payment. The restaurant opens at 8am and usually gets crowded post 10am. The dining area is limited, and the family is courteous. It makes for a great breakfast ride from Bangalore.
