This place has a great nostalgic value. Many of those who now bring their kids to this place, themselves came as kids to Kulti club, had gala time and sometimes visited this eatery which was open only to club members at that time. It's been sometime and the memories of fun galore in the heart of Kulti have started to fade, so I don't personally mind such commercialization of this place- it must have been the need of the hour for the management. They could have imagined it as a cafe, worked on the interior and gave it a makeover for meet-cute. However something tells me that the management knows quite well that without the officer or even clerical class, Kulti is left to small or medium class businessmen, some nouveau riche and mostly 'chhapris', who wouldn't embrace the idea of frequenting a cafe. The interior is nothing mention worthy. The ambience needs to be revamped. The place is small, so a medium sized gathering may take up the entire space. The service is deft, nothing daft there. The waiter was prompt, courteous and unassuming. The food came quick, empty plates were promptly removed. A packaging request was instantly handled. Coming to the food quality, the sweet corn soup was enticing. We enjoyed it very much. But corn chat and onion pakora were not delectable at all. They decided to make those items as alcohol add on, which kind of ruined it for us. A good food could have overcome the dreary ambience. Pocket pinch is bearable. It's an AC restaurant, so prices are higher than roadside vendors of Kulti, but lower than some notable eateries of Asansol. Food was okay okay, kashmiri pulao and baby corn was good but veg biryani was pathetic(too much black pepper and it was like veggies mixed with rice having aroma of biryani), veg chowmin was also not good .Veg platter was also bad Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₹200–400 Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Recommended dishes: Kashmiri Pulao Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes
