Took the new Aqua Line at 9 AM for what I thought would be a 10:30 AM breakfast worth the trip.Turns out, I got Kuckeliku’d.For a place that proudly calls itself a “Breakfast House” the “signature” fried chicken & waffle tasted like it had signed out long ago — the waffle was a biscuit in disguise, and the chicken smelled like it had seen better days. Even the staff looked like they’d rather be somewhere else (frankly, same).The only thing crisp about the morning was the Metro ride.Later I googled the building (Kamal Mansion) and learned that the building itself was in the news for being a “ticking time bomb and death trap,” which felt oddly poetic.

I have unfortunately had an extremely humiliating experience here. My wife and I had booked a table to entertain some guests for brunch last Sunday (2 Oct). Even post calling in advance and booking, once we got there, the server at the reception told us to wait indefinitely and in as many words said that ‘reservations don’t matter, since people keep coming’

Clearly this restaurant and it’s management doesn’t seem to have any regard for the time and effort customers spend to get to a place once they assume they’ve booked a table
