I had ordered Nellore Chepala Pulusu along with white rice through Zomato, but was instead delivered a tasteless, spoilt chicken curry. When I raised the issue with Zomato, the restaurant attempted to insist that the dish sent was fish. It’s quite baffling — on which planet does fish come with a breast cut portions with clearly visible chicken bones? While genuine mistakes can happen, attempting to cover up an error with such baseless claims reflects a concerning level of negligence and disregard for customer trust. Kritunga was once known for its quality, but lately there seems to be a noticeable dip in standards and accountability. At a time when several new restaurants are emerging with excellent customer service and professionalism, this kind of approach only distances loyal customers further. I visited Kritunga Restaurant with 8 friends and we ordered Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Biryani, and Chicken Lollipop. The Tandoori was flavorful and well-cooked, while the Biryani was decent but not outstanding. However, the Chicken Lollipop was disappointing in taste and quality. The overall bill came to ₹3800, which felt slightly high considering the experience. It’s an average place to try once, but definitely has room for improvement in both taste and value.
