Walking near Templo de SAI BABA, visit this restaurant. According to the visitors' reviews, Indian dishes here are quite good. Don't forget to try perfectly cooked chicken biryani, spicy chicken and rabbit at Kothanur Kitchen. A lot of visitors order delicious juice.
The staff is efficient that's what makes this place so good. Here you will pay average prices. The reviews of this spot mention the fine decor as a definite benefit. But a number of people who use Google didn't grant this restaurant a high rating.
I am writing my experience with my friends today afternoon after seeing several reviews from food v/bloggers especially!
Firstly, the place is on a busy road without proper parking!
Once entered we were greeted by power cut / dark space inside without power backup!. After about 20 mins, the power came and we were greeted by several spiders, spider webs and few other insect friends!
We had ordered chicken kotthu parota and guess what, they had served as though we were first timers!. The chicken pieces were bigger in size and the parota, they just broken into small pieces by hand mixed with gravy and served...when we checked with the guy why was the kotthu parota not properly smashed/beaten on the tawa for sometime etc, he had just a faint smile on his face!!. Those who said the price was very good - chicken kabab with 8 pieces of chicken weighing appx 15-20 grms each were charged at Rs. 200!!! Guess other item prices!.
The taste too was not at all good and the ambience was terrible just that they have the palm leaves roof and finally the oil they use - RUCHI GOLD PALMOLIEN oil which the world is saying to get rid of it or not to use!!. See picture!
