Kori's, a fine dining spot in Guwahati, specializes in Korean cuisine. The establishment boasts a clean and cozy ambiance with elegant interior design. The prices are reasonable, making it a popular choice for students. The restaurant offers outdoor seating, allowing customers to enjoy the bustling Zoo Road while savoring their meals.
The menu features authentic Korean dishes such as Jjajangmyeon (black bean noodles), Bibimbap (mixed rice bowl), and Kimchi Kimbap (seaweed rice roll with pickled vegetables). For those who prefer a milder taste, Kori's also serves chicken fingers and corn dogs. The restaurant's signature dish, Chicken Japchae, is a must-try.
To complement the meal, Kori's offers fruit beer and a variety of soft drinks. For wine enthusiasts, the establishment has a selection of red, white, and sparkling wines.
Although some customers have expressed disappointment with the portion size, the quality of the food and the excellent service compensate for it. The restaurant's spick and span toilet is another plus point.
All in all, Kori's is an ideal place for anyone craving authentic Korean cuisine in Guwahati.
Oh how the mighty has fallen! Kori's used to be really good. But now all they have left is an artificial rain system (which I'm not fond of) and really shitty food. When you're charging this kind of money for food, I expect you to use the best possible ingredients. I expect you to hire the best possible chefs and I expect a good presentation. Well, that's not the reality anymore. I had a couple flavors of kimbap and cold coffee with ice cream. Both were trash. The ingredients they used were cheap and far from fresh. The soy sauce was the el cheapo soy sauce you can find at any random store. I've also tried their glass noodle based dishes. While the noodles themselves were good (I'm assuming it's not made in house) but everything else that had been done to the noodles were bad. The noodles stuck to each other into a blob, were way overcooked and tasted meh. You'd be better off buying Koka or some other relatively higher end Korean instant noodles, of which you could get 3-4 packs for the money these guys charge. If you've only ever had Maggi and think Maggi is the pinnacle of noodles or asian food, you're gonna love Kori's. Thanks, never coming here ever again.
