The thalis at Kolkata Rajbari, Kalighat feel like sitting down for a proper Bengali family lunch. Served on banana leaves with clay bowls, the spread has everything a Bengali food lover craves—steaming rice, crisp luchi, simple bhajas, comforting dal, and rich fish and meat curries. The flavors are warm, familiar, and never overdone, just like home cooking. Every bite feels nostalgic and satisfying, making the thali less like restaurant food and more like a lovingly cooked traditional Bengali meal. And in the end it goes without saying that the staffs behaviour was top notch and was looking after your every needs perfectly.
