After a walk around Jardim Garcia de Orta, many visitors stop by this restaurant. Indian cuisine under the direction of the great chef is gorgeous here. Kokum Curry Panjim serves perfectly cooked goan fish curry, prawn masala and spiced crab. Nothing can be better than tasting good curry dessert.

The staff is cute that's what makes this place so nice. Prompt service is something that guests note in their reviews. A number of reviewers highlight that prices are reasonable for what you receive. There is a cozy atmosphere and lovely decor at this spot. This restaurant scored 4.4 in the Google rating system.

Visited this place for dinner. Im told they're one of a handful of places that serve a thali st dinner time. The appetizers were tasty, and the seafood was fresh. Unfortunately, some of the prawns were overcooked and hard and rubbery. Dinner was a nice leisurely affair, and service was good. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Good Solkadi & Fish, But Curries Lacked Balance We tried the Chonak Fish Thali (₹450). The highlight was the Chonak fish itself, which was perfectly cooked—flaky and fresh. The Solkadi was also excellent, exactly as it should be. However, the curries accompanying the thali, including the prawn curry, were disappointing. They were overly spiced yet under-seasoned, lacking the right balance of salt and the characteristic Goan sourness. This made the overall meal feel unbalanced. At this price point, one expects more consistent and well-rounded flavors. The experience felt geared more towards tourists than locals seeking authentic, balanced taste. Might be a one-time try for the perfectly cooked fish, but the curries need refinement. Food: 2 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4 Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹200–400 Recommendation for vegetarians: Would not recommend Vegetarian offerings: Clearly labelled vegetarian dishes Vegetarian options: Its a coastal food place so full of seafood Parking options: Paid street parking Kid-friendliness: Yes Wheelchair accessibility: Nope..they are on 1st floor without the lift

Dear Raj, ours is a genuine effort to make Saraswat food available in restaurants. Will check if the salt was a lil less on the day you visited, but it is generally just right, I assure you. Kokum Curry in Panjim is not a touristy place, our major guest share is local, with just a fair amount of tourists on the weekend or in holiday season. I appreciate your feedback, Sir. Would love to meet and personally serve you the next time you visit.
