We waited here for almost an hour, but it was worth it! The food truly lived up to the reviews — it was excellent. The only drawback was the seating arrangement, which felt quite cramped and close. Despite that, the taste and quality of the food made up for it. A must-try if you love authentic coastal flavors. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: ₹1,200–1,400 Food: 4 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 1

Kokni Kanteen: Goa’s lunchtime Thali Dreams️. No Goan holiday feels complete without a stop at Kokni Kanteen, located in the heart of Panjim (near Mahalaxmi Temple). Their traditional special fish curry thali is a must-try, authentic coastal flavours and perfect combo with a chilled kokum mojito. The cozy, homestyle setting with vintage Goan decor props adds a nostalgic charm to the dining experience. Lunchtime can be busy, so expect a bit of a wait. However the thali (served only at lunch time), is absolutely worth the wait. We've been visiting Kokni Kanteen for several years now, and it continues to charm with its consistent authentic flavours and warm homely vibe. Already dreaming of our next visit!
