This is a small little hidden gem on Kolbad Road. The food is truly Malwani. You can try about anything on the sea food menu. The bombil, surmai, pomfret is awesome. The speciality is everything is tava fry and not deep fried. The restaurant also takes your requests for adding that extra spice or making the stuff in less oil. The prawns biryani, crab lollipops and tisrya sukha are a must try. If you are not fussy about interiors and decor, do visit this place.
The last time i had visited Anthony's i saw this place and took their take away menu. Its a small joint with seating capacity of 12-14 off outside & d same no in d ac section. I have a knack of visiting such small places especially when they serve u Malwani food. So it was this particular item that had caught My mind which i ordered straight away. "crabs lollipop!" and my oh my.. They were delicious. Very fresh and so damn easy to eat! I find it very difficult to eat crabs and hence found dese too simple to eat and njoyed dem fully. We also ordered chicken sukha and ambolya. Chicken was soft and the gravy was traditional and medium spicy. I loved it. Ambolya was nthing but dosa. Will be definitely visiting again to try out their fish thalis!
2nd visit.
As said we were back for the thalis and they were worth it. We ordered a pomfret thali! The fried fish was very big. There was rice, chapati, fish curry and one veg sabji which i don't remember. The taste was good. Homelike. I feel one more dish should have been served but the size of the pomfret made up for it. For 300 bucks it was totally value for money. We also ordered the fish popcorn which weren't that great and hence I wouldn't recommend. Overall a nice place to have in d vicinity wherein you can easily go for seafood without having to look at ur wallet :)
