Yesterday, my family and I visited Kohli Sweets in Tripuri Market, near the renowned Dukhniwaran Sahib in Patiala—a spot popular among locals. This was my first visit, though I had heard much praise about it beforehand. The ground floor houses a sweet shop and bakery, while the first floor features the restaurant. We ordered two mini thalis (₹220 each), each including mix vegetable, dal, raita, two chapatis, papad, and salad. The food quality was excellent, with the dal being particularly delicious, and the pricing proved reasonable. Table service was prompt, and our waiter, Nikhilesh, was polite and highly professional. For dessert, we had a plate of gulab jamun (two pieces for ₹50), which was enjoyable but slightly overpriced given the portion size—larger pieces would better justify the cost. Free street parking was available, though we arrived late in the day, so peak evening availability remains uncertain. The ambience is good, with well-maintained standards overall. I recommend this convenient eatery for its tasty, value-driven Punjabi fare
