I had the pleasure of visiting the Kodagu Coffee Growers Co-operative Society Ltd, and it was an experience that stayed with me long after the last sip of coffee. The highlight was undoubtedly the civet coffee—rich, smooth, and layered with complexity that you simply don’t get in commercial blends. It’s rare to find such authenticity and craftsmanship in every cup. You can truly taste the care that goes into the cultivation and roasting. This isn’t just coffee—it’s heritage in liquid form. Just as impressive was the hospitality of the staff. From the moment I arrived, I was made to feel welcome—not as a customer, but as a guest. They were knowledgeable, warm, and genuinely proud of their work. They took the time to explain the process behind civet coffee and made the whole experience feel personal and meaningful. In an age of mechanized experiences, Kodagu’s co-op is a refreshing return to tradition, care, and quality. I’ll definitely be back—and I’ll be recommending this place to every true coffee lover I know. Thank you for the unforgettable experience! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

If you're in Coorg and looking to buy authentic coffee, spices, and wine, this is the place to go. Unlike many tourist shops, this store focuses on quality and fair pricing rather than aggressive upselling. One important thing to note: this shop doesn’t allow commission-based cab drivers, which is why many drivers might not bring you here. Be cautious—those drivers often take tourists to overpriced, low-quality stores that offer them a cut. This shop is simple, honest, and all about delivering the right product at the right price. Mr. Ravi Kumar made us a fantastic cup of coffee and patiently walked us through the different varieties of coffee, spices, and wine. He was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and helpful, offering genuine guidance without any pressure to buy. After our purchase, he even arranged to ship the items directly to our home, so we didn’t have to carry them on our flight. The entire staff was polite, honest, and courteous. Even the essential oils sold here were of excellent purity and quality. If you're looking to avoid scams and want a genuine, trustworthy shopping experience in Coorg, this is the place—and Mr. Ravi Kumar is the person to meet.
