Christmas Eve was the 3rd time I had been there in a year and experiences in last two times were not good to say the least. If you are like me to whom even one negative review but truthful is good enough to persuade in other direction.
Firstly positive part - ambience is good which is why in my opinion it draws highway customers. Service was also pretty good by the young smiling servers. But the BAD part is Food both in Quality and Portion Size. This was terrible and reflects the mindset of the owner or manager running operations i.e. focus only on profit instead of the value to customers. They charge the price of five star restaurants but quality and portion size in this place is is abysmal in my opinion. Wish I had taken pics of dishes - you would think for example they would serve Basmati rice for the price but no, one of cheapest and likewise the other items. Literally 2small spoons of Chatni in small plate for two ordered and so on and so forth. Last time we ordered Thali and before we had Chinese. If they repeat any of the items, there are marked differences in the repeats.
In summary, this would be the last time I would go there and not again. Would not recommend.
Very bad experience from kitchen sutra, chandannagar.Worst quality food and service management. Only show off. Pls don't go there. Food price very high but taste very low.
Extremely worst service. They took order for chilli baby corn, aam panna and chicken momo. They served first two but tested our patience level for ordering the third one.
When my friend asked them why it is taking so much time, one of their staff told her that within 5 minutes it will get prepared. But all words went in vain.
After waiting several minutes, my friend again knocked the floor manager regarding the delay of serving chicken momo, the manager then told her that the momo maker is under repair so cant be served at thay time, and handed over the bill.
Now the real picture came to us, when we asked them about their hotel manager to lodge the complaint. The staff denied the fact of repair of momo machine. They shouted on my friend and me that we forced them to prepare the bill as the item was getting late to serve to us.
Warning all of you please go this resturant with plenty of time in your hands as I think it will take 4 to 5 hours to get back from the restaurant for their delayed and rude service. Extremely pathetic..
