Also for delivery through zomato they are painfully slow. It Sayles than an hour but it has taken more than 90 MI both times we've ordered. We have not had that problem with other zomato restaurants.
This place being quite near to be, is our hangout or meeting joint.Â
Recently they have introduced their revamped menu and we were invited to try the same.Â
Located right next to The Raintree at St Mary's Road, Alwarpet, the place is already popular due to their outlet The Cupcake Company.Â
I like the interiors, quite classy, with lovely lightings, pastel colours, vintage poster frames on the wall. It is a small place, but I guess elite, atleast the price makes it so.Â
They use good quality ingredients and mostly organic stuff to prepare the food. The menu includes only veg and egg based dishes, no non veg.Â
We had quite a few drinks and dishes from the new menu.Â
BEVERAGES:Â
Homemade Lemonade: My usual order. I love it. At times, they make it quite concentrated, otherwise it is very good.Â
Lemon Iced Tea: Very refreshing.Â
Cookie Monster: Nothing fancy about it. Tasted good.Â
Banana Chocolate: Nice.Â
Hot Fudge Milk Shake: I liked it.Â
Nutella Chocolate Milkshake> Very good.Â
Nutella Hot Chocolate: With generous helping of Nuttela , served in a huge mug, this is a worthy beverage.Â
Indian Style Onion Rings : with garlic aioli. Go for this one. A better take on the kana bhajji, where onion rings are batter fried and the fritters are damn tasty. You can't stop at one. Â
Quinoa Tabbouleh: Quinoa with parsley, tomatoes and pomegranate: The healthy food fix, for those looking for diet fix, this works as a good breakfast or any time snack. We were in a mood to hog on, so just had a bite.Â
Nachos: Very good Nachos, with lovely sour cream and salsa.Â
Quesadilla: Mexican veggies and cheese: Crisp and fresh.Â
Gongura Potato Roll with curry leaf aioli : This was surprisingly delicious. Spicy, very south Indian and yum.Â
Elote: Mexican Corn On Cob: Simple and nice.Â
Egg in a hole: perfect combination of eggs cooked in the centre of a delicious piece bread topped with shallots and melted cheese. I totally loved this. Ordered again on another occasion.Â
Fiery Mexican Burger: Mexican Bean Patty with lettuce, slaw and charred onion served with fries. This was fine. Â
Tomato Basil Pizza: Thin crust pizza with good flavors.Â
Mushroom and Cheese Pizza: I liked it a lot.
Cream and Mushroom Spaghetti: Lip smacking.
Burmese Broth : Glutton free noodles, bean sprouts, and broccoli with peanuts. Well this comes under the healthy food category and all the ingredients speak for themselves. But it was mind blowing. A one pot meal that is enough for me as it is.Â
Crepe Lasagna: Crepes layered like lasagna sheets, with a herb cheese and olive oil tossed veggie filling, topped with béchamel and cheddar, baked to perfection and served with french baguette. You need to try this to believe how good it is. Creamy, and a fine example of gourmet cooking.Â
Desserts:
Classic Vanilla French Toast: topped with maple syrup: I love their crepes and this is a classic one.Â
Berry Yoghurt: with fruits, chia seeds and nuts. This was berry berry good <3
Ice Cream Sandwich: Good in taste but since it was served in a huge mug, it is tough to have. You cannot cut through with spoon.Â
Nutella Crepe with Banana: thorough yumminessÂ
Crepe with fudge sauce and whipped cream: Brilliant.Â
Chocolate Mousse Pot Berries & Cream: Undoubtedly my favorite amongst all desserts. I cannot believe I do not have a pic of this. On two occasions after this, I tried ordering and it was out of stock.Â
A place that cannot be frequented very often, but a lovely place to visit occasionally for sure. Try their new menu and get enchanted with the love of good food.Â

PREVIOUS REVIEW:
Herein, we paid our bills :)
The place is very easily accessible to me but I had yet had only beverages here on all my visits. The Cupcake section that has been there from long is frequented very often.Â
It's newly done place as this side of the place was empty. And the exteriors and interiors are done with some taste, I must say. Very classy. Love the interiors of Kitchen 187 Cafe and Creperie. The floors are chequered in Black and white, while the walls are hot red and the Black sofas and tables and chairs just go perfect. The minute details are very nice. Even the bill is served in a unique vessel.Â
Thanks to Navina Joseph who had come there for some work and I could drop in.Â
We tried the Mushroom Duxelles Crepe. It was lip smackingly good. The mushrooms were very fresh and very well made, the filling of cheese and spinach was awesome. Another best part was the Pesto sauce that is served with this dish. Though I like it a tad bit spicier but it was very flavourful and tasty. Overall Awesome Savoury Crepe to have here.Â
There is an option whether we would like normal Crepe or Eggless. We opted for normal Crepe with egg.
We wanted one Sweet Crepe too ofcourse and the safest bet was something to do with Chocolate. hence we ordered one Choco and Caramalized Banana Crepe. There was very good amount and quality of chocolate sauce within the crepe and the caramalized banana was just perfect to my liking.Â
The beverage ordered was Homemade Lemonade. It's my favourite here and doesn't go wrong.Â
It overall cost us a total of Rs 1182/- which definitely is high.
The service is good.Â
Well, if one wants to have a one off light meal / high quality Crepes, at a small place that has lovely ambience and is fine to shell out some extra bucks for that, head here. Otherwise, the menu is pretty limited.
