We have been huge fans of Kirits since it started many years ago. Our favs Dutch Choc Truffle & Black Forest which have unfailingly been excellent every time. Recently, we went by their strong suggestion to try Home Made Chocolate & were v v disappointed. The cake layers & choc layers were hard as if it had been frozen rather than freshly made. Considering there was so much chocolate, it should have been gooey, moist & soft, but it turned out to be just the opposite. Stick to yr tried & tested greats guys, & suggest only if you have perfected them to the level yr old customers r used to.

ABSOLUTELY PATHETIC. Ordered an English Blueberry Cheesecake (Medium) for 500 bucks through Scootsy. For that price one would expect a decent cake if not delicious. What i received was shocking. It was by far the WORST cake i have ever eaten. In fact, 'worst' is an understatement. The cake was smelling and after taking a bite i'm sure i would have got food poisoning if i were to take another. Either the ingredients they have used had expired months ago or they had passed on a week old order from a customer who had cancelled it. Unfortunately i had already paid for it before opening the box (as my experience with Scootsy was always good) or i would not have taken it in the first place. In order to amicably solve the matter, i tried to get in contact with the manager. The employee who picked up the phone, rudely told me the shop was shut and there was no way even he could get me in contact with the manager and then simply hung up before i could even catch his name. Unsurprisingly, the service is the same level as the food they serve. If an option given, i would rate The Bakers Table less than 1.0. Scootsy has agreed to help in the matter and have asked me to hold onto the cake and contact them again tomorrow.

Frankly speaking the staff is very kind towards you. I think that is also a quality that a good desert place needs because have can you expect the desert to be nice if the people aren't. The cakes of the place are very very good and for a reasonable price. When I go there I always buy some of there chocolates since they are not too sweet also not too bitter. I would say if u want budget cakes that also taste good u show try this place.
