This morning it happened.
Was atop shevaroys, as a guest to a senior schoolmate, and as destiny could make it, had skipped breakfast, to be recommended to Kingswood.
It was like civilisation in the middle of a wild jungle. Planned and landscaped, neat and tidy, with a path to the stream running as a neighbour.
Let me come to the menu later, the distant mountain view was a breath of fresh air, in the already clean atmosphere.
The cutlery was a blend of the east and the West, plantain leaf for the finger users, and the knife, fork, spoon, depending on the orders.
Mine was simple idlies and an omelette. The chutneys came in cute wooden containers, which brought on a smile, the idlies were rightly fermented, and rare for the tasty sambar in this altitude.
If you are very picky, I think the owner would have read the minds of the likes of you, in advance.
I must have been the only client who did not have coffee I guess, inspite of all the inspiring lines on coffee, at their walls. ( I had two cups by evening at my friend s place, my family would not believe)
Picking up the brochure, I decided to bring my friends, and write up to let others know of a wonderful place, where there is care, concern, and understanding of our wants, taste and style.
